~ GAIL RUSSO, LMBT #5008 ~
Master Level “Certified” Medical Massage Therapist of Cary
And “Certified” Orthopedic Massage Specialist.

Orthopedic Assessment is an evaluation process, a systematic process of gathering information to determine the root cause of the pain, and to recommend a massage therapy treatment plan..

Medical Massage Therapy is the application of specific treatment modalities targeted to the specific problem after an assessment/evaluation is performed by the “Medical Massage Practitioner.”

Gail Russo, NC Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist #5008, and Nationally Board Certified is a highly trained and experienced Medical/Orthopedic Massage Practitioner with Advanced Master-level Certifications in Orthopedic Assessment and Certified Medical Massage. She is uniquely trained to evaluate your soft tissue chronic pain, and will recommend and apply highly effective, state-of-the-art medical massage techniques to relieve soft tissue pain.

Soft Tissue Chronic Pain can be due to poor posture, postural distortions, poor desk ergonomics resulting in Trigger Points; sports activities, occupational stress, repetitive stress injuries (such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Tennis and Golfers elbow), Frozen Shoulder; and surgical recovery (rotator cuff tears). There are also pain conditions such as Fibromyalgia, Myofascial Pain Syndrome, etc. – all of these and more greatly benefit from medical massage therapy sessions. Gail integrates a variety of massage modalities such as Myofascial Release and Neuromuscular Trigger Point Therapy (NMT), to relieve soft tissue chronic pain conditions.

Medical and Orthopedic Massage Therapy is appropriate for all members of the family. It is a safe, all-natural method of relieving soft tissue pain. In cases where massage therapy would not be appropriate, the Practitioner will recommend alternatives such as seeing a physician, chiropractor, acupuncturist, or other qualified practitioner.

“I offer a stress-free, safe, odor-neutral, gender-friendly, and non-pretentious environment. My skills encompass a variety of state-of-the-art therapeutic pain-relieving massage modalities for addressing soft tissue thus consistently meeting and exceeding my clients’ needs. My goal is to deliver world-class service and state-of-the-art bodywork.” Gail Russo, Owner, LMBT
